I have ranted about this before with OK My Man, but this one just had me ranting for hours (ask Mrs. C8j, she was tired of it after a while). This young lady with the purple finger nails, more eye liner than Johnny Depp, was told by some idiot that you seem more friendly when you talk to people if you use their first name. I need to update my TD Profile to reflect, call me Mr. Big Caj please!

More than once I have touched on the subject of whether it is better tosuffer in silence or to complain about bad service or when you feel you have been treated badly. This past weekend reinforced my belief that the only people who suffer in silence are martyrs-in-waiting, but then again Martyrs typically end up being burned at the stake (OK that was Joan of Arc, but you see my point).

Remember the folks working in the service world have a lot of “doo doo” to deal with, so if you stand up for your self, without being rude or offensive, you might be surprised just how much they can do for you. This could mean putting money BACK in your pocket, so remember, Patience can pay well!
